At Digiss, we recognize that breaking into the field of cyber security can be quite a challenge as opportunities can be hard to come by. Through our internship program, we aim to develop a production pipeline of top notch cyber security talents whilst lowering the barrier of entry into the field.

Digiss is alleviating the cyber talent shortage problem whilst creating opportunities at entry level. Successful candidates will learn by doing while gaining exposure to industry leading cyber security technology products. If you’re passionate about the field of cyber security and have a desire to make a good career out of it then this is a great opportunity for you.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

• Undergo a 7-week intensive training to acquire the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of a security analyst
• Support security events monitoring, detection, and initial investigations efforts
• Co-learn with peers (buddies) while learning from senior colleagues (mentors) through shadowing
• Maintain situational awareness of the global cyber threat landscape and make recommendations on actionable intelligence
• Carry out security operations, incident response, and vulnerability discovery in line with Digiss standard operating procedures

Key attributes and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) field preferred but not mandatory
• Exemplary professionalism, passion, and desire to become a cyber security professional
• Ability to think outside the box and suggest innovative ideas
  Excellent analytical mind, problem-solving skill, and a keen eye for detail
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Candidates with Security+ or CySA will jump to the front of the queue, but those with demonstrable record of taking cyber security courses will also be strongly considered
